Hello again blog world! I've been gone for 3 weeks, out in the boonies, but don't worry, I took TONS of pictures. This week I ♥ Faces is doing a feet theme. I am so excited I made it back in time to enter, as I love feet shots. These are Snug's feet. His toes are perpetually dirty as he, like his mother, prefers to be barefoot from the moment the snow melts in the spring. I captured this moment as he was playing with some dandelions in the backyard one afternoon.

I ♥ Faces Sepia Tone

This week's theme at I ♥ Faces is sepia tone pictures. I have been waiting for this one as I have recently begun using it along with standard color pictures. Thank you I ♥ Faces for doing this!

This is a picture of Little Miss E waiting for her mom to pick her up after school one day. She is really easy to photograph and I loved this picture when I uploaded it. I've taken many many sepia pictures of my boys in anticipation of this contest, but in the end, this was my favorite. Thanks for stopping by!

I think this is the LATEST I have ever entered...wasn't going to do it, because my good pet pictures are all on my dead computer...but then I remembered this picture. And I have to submit it. Hope it is a keeper :o)

My brother in law brought over his new puppy. Chester (pictured on the left) wasn't sure about the new puppy...and really wasn't sure about HIS boy holding and fawning over the new puppy. But you see here that he couldn't help but like it too. My favorite thinga about this picture is that both my son and my dog have the same expression on their faces! Can you see it too?

This is Snug when he was almost 2 months old and weighed 8 lbs! It is so hard to look back and remember those days now that he is almost three.

So I will never win with this picture (ok, I will never ever win anyway, who am I kidding!) but I love it so I am posting it to share with all of you! The I ♥ Faces theme this week is Laughter. #1 and Snug love to wrestle and they both laugh quite a bit while doing it. I know I don't have cool photo editing software, Snug is a bit blurry as he is being caught in this photo and I'm sure that I didn't angle it/focus it/center it correctly. Too bad! I like it and am sharing it with the world. Enjoy!

I ♥ Faces

Welcome to all of you visiting from I ♥ Faces! This is my 2 year old son. When I took this picture (down in our basement as he was goofing around) I was shocked to see what I had captured. I'd venture to say no one would guess he was 2 in this picture. I think it is a rare glimpse into what we will see in his later childhood years. For everyone who reads normally, I know it is Sunday, and I ♥ Faces isn't until Monday/Tuesday, but I had to post early this week. Tomorrow is Not Me Monday, and due to Stellan being in the hospital there hasn't been an official one in over a month now. (Stellan is doing fantastic by the way) Plus, this week will be crazy for us because tomorrow #1 goes to 12 hour shifts...I will be alone with the Draycare kids. At least the first few days during naptime I will be rushing around even MORE than normal trying to put the house to rights and there won't be any time to blog! I will probably make my "Not Me"s tonight and schedule that post, but I really wanted to get this one up ASAP! I will definitely blog Thursday and let you know how Baby J's latest GI appointment goes(on Thursday) and what his EIS/Physical Therapist said on Wednesday. If you follow me on Twitter or if you look at the right hand side of my blog towards the top, you can also get updates...if I haven't misplaced my phone. That happens quite a bit during the day! I absolutely have fallen in love with this photography blog. It gives me something to work towards as I take pictures of our family each week. It is also nice to see what other people have entered. This is Snug in his Easter suit standing by his "hide and seek" tree. This tree is where he covers his mouth and counts "one, two, free, here I tum duys!" His eyes show all the excitement he sees in life. Always ready to play, always has something funny to say, always ready for action.

I Heart Faces-Pets

Who wouldn't love this face? This is our dog Chester and I am entering him in the I Heart Faces contest for this week. (I hope I am following the rules correctly...) All the black that is missing on his nose? It is spotted on his tongue. Chester has been our dog for almost four years. We got him the Saturday before Easter...before we even had our house yet. He stayed with #1's parents until we moved in. We got Lucy (his littermate) about four months later. He is very loyal, patient, energetic, and I couldn't ask for anything more in a dog...except that maybe he didn't eat cat feces...

Today I am joinging I Heart Faces photography challenge. I had to crop a picture (of a face obviously) to make it better. This picture was taken in October of Baby J. I was actually looking through some pictures to take to the specialist to show him perspective on Baby J on Friday (yes, the appointment got moved to Friday, praise God!)
