Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside my window... the sun is shining.  It is deceptive as we only have a high of 40, but it is still so nice to see the sun.

I am thinking...about finding the dress pattern I bought a couple of weeks ago and trying it tonight.

I am thankful for... our hot water heater.  Finally up and running today for the first time since last Tuesday night.

From the kitchen...I see a mess.  So many dishes.  Started loading the dishwasher and got sidetracked.

I am wearing... jeans, a St. Patrick's Day shirt, and brown sweatshirt.

I am creating... lots of baby blankets for baby showers.  We have a TON of new babies on their way at our church.

I am going... to make our March budget soon as I realized it is already the 1st!

I am reading... nothing.  I'm lucky to have time to sit down and to my Bible study...not time for fiction.

I am hoping... to have our house spic and span before I go to bed.

I am hearing... Snug and Little M (Draycare boy) playing with Duplos...and nothing else as everyone else is napping.

Around the house... lots of laundry to be put away.  I can get it washed.  I can get it folded.  But I rarely get it all put away.  Someone is always sleeping in a room somewhere most of the time that we are home!

One of my favorite things... nursing Rosebud when she first wakes up every morning.  It is the only time she nurses anymore.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Wednesday is library and church...Thursday is a preschool day and the younger kids and I have a playdate, Friday I have plans to work on the basement, and Saturday a girl who reads this blog and her husband are coming over to learn about cloth diapering.  I've never met her before, but my husband went to HS with her.  Small world!

Here is picture for thought I am sharing...

This is Little Monkey Man a year ago...we had just learned he couldn't have wheat. Actually March 1st of last year was one of our WORST days with his "food issues" and it was also the day we decided to take him completely off wheat and "see what happens".  What a blessing to know how to best feed him and not have him sick all the time.  I still miss his hair.
