25 Days of Ornaments December 3

If you'd like to participate in sharing about some special ornaments on your tree, or see other people's go over to Mama Bear's blog and check it out!
My ornament today is one of #1's police themed ornaments. I don't think that he has received one every year (and I know I haven't found one for this year) but we do have a few. I love this little guy. Do you know how hard it is to find cute police ornaments?
I got this ornament at Bronner's when Snug was just a little guy. I still remember taking pictures of him with Aunt Danielle and Uncle Nathan that day. There was a life sized Nativity behind them and in the picture you can see Joseph. When Snug was younger he'd point at Nathan and say "who that?", followed by Danielle, and then, of course, Joseph. For awhile I think he was convinced we knew the plastic man standing with far away relatives!
If you click on the Bronner's link above you will visit a wonderful online store filled with all kinds of Christmas things. Looking for a special ornament? They probably have it! Going up I-75 in northern Michigan? You have to stop!

There is a missing persons alert with today's post. If any of you happen to come to my house and happen to locate this snowman I caught being de-decorated yesterday, there is a $1.00 reward. I'm sure he cost even less than that, but no one would look otherwise. I re-decorated him after I snuck in a picture, but apparently the crime scene was revisited and he was missing as I plugged in the tree this morning. It may have been an inside job. The snowman wasn't in the 25 Days of Ornaments plan, and perhaps he just wanted to be featured along with his ornamates.

I can imagine that it WOULD be hard to find a cute cop snowman :) For some reason I have no memories of my kids going for the tree when they were little. Maybe having October birthdays helps since they are just the right age when their second Christmas rolls around? Hmmmmm

My police ornaments never seem to make it onto the tree, not sure why? I guess I've gotten into the habit of just using baby proof ornaments for now.

Love the missing persons alert...too cute. Sneaky little guy!

You've been to Bronners??? I'M SO JEALOUS.

I'll let you know if I see the Snowman...we've had the same string of crime here at my house. It's a snowman abduction spree!

I've always wanted to go to Bronners but live far away from it! I will be on the lookout for cute cop ornaments now because you said that! Your missing persons bulletin is great too!
